Upper eyelid surgery (lid lift) is performed through an incision in the natural crease above the eyelash line to remove excess fat and skin. Lower eyelid surgery is generally performed through an incision below the eyelash line or from inside the eyelid. Fat, this often creates that ‘puffy appearance is removed or repositioned. Excess skin is often removed as well. The result is more youthful and rested looking eyes.
We always consider the position and laxity of your brow when considering an eyelid lift. If the brow is too lax, then a brow lift should be performed.
